Hello Region 1,

With everything going on I don’t even know where to start with my Web Report, other than to say that my thoughts and prayers are with everyone. Stay safe and healthy. With all the uncertainty with everything, ASATT and the BOD is trying to find the best way for you to get your CE’s so sit tight we are trying to figure out how to do Webinars as Regional Meetings. It is looking like Zoom Meetings is going to be the way of having meetings. Please be patient with me while I learn from the Headquarters how to do a Zoom Meeting. Once I learn, I will connect with the people who wanted to host the Regional Meetings and see if we can get some of the speakers to get 2 or 3 of them together at a time to do a Session. All the details we are trying to work out now with ASATT Headquarters now as this is all new to all of us.

If you did not see the Presidents Message on the Webpage, ASATT’s first Virtual Meeting will be on June 13th it will be 1 hour (approx.) in length, interactive and available for Members only. The cost will be $10 for 1 CE. There will be a limit of 100 attendees, however it will be recorded and it will be available at a later date on the ASATT ACADEMY for anyone who was not able to attend the live Meeting.

The Regional Educational Award is here upon us, so please do not forget to nominate that special someone within your Region that is not required or paid to advance the education of Technicians and Technologists.  ASATT encourages every Member consider who in your Region is exemplified this award. Winners for each Region will be selected by the end of July, and the awards will be given out during the ASATT Business meeting during the Annual Educational Conference.
