Happy November! Hard to believe that we are that close to the holiday season. I hope you are all staying healthy and safe with the Pandemic escalating each day. I will continue to keep you updated on Regional Meetings. Still waiting for a confirmation date on the Virtual Meeting speakers. It will not be a lot of CEs; however, every little bit helps. There are numerous ways to earn more CEs on the website with the Sensor Quizzes back up and running. And do not forget that you can attend ANY of the Regional Meetings, $10 each CE, now that is a bargain for sure.

SAVE THE DATE: Do not forget to start making plans for next year’s Annual Meeting in Fort Worth, Texas September 23-25th. If I was a betting woman, I would almost guarantee that you will not be disappointed with this meeting. It is going to be huge!!! You can expect updates as time goes along.

Recertification is open now as of November 1st, so please do not wait until the last minute. If it is your year to recertify, Please, Please, Please, do not wait until the last minute to start the process, start it now and get it done. If you need more CEs, don’t forget that you can attend any of the Regional Meetings, the availability is out there for members to take advantage of.  If you need help, email me or call me and I will try to walk you through it. I would be glad to help you. We (ASATT) including Headquarters have tried to make this as painless and as easy as we can. And it is more important now than ever to get this done. DO NOT LET CERTIFICATION LAPSE IF YOU ARE A CERTIFIED ANESTHESIA TECHNICIAN, YOU CAN NOT GET IT BACK easily.

I hope you all enjoy the holiday season with family and/or friends. Let's all be thankful that we have each other during this difficult time in our lives.

STAY SAFE AND HEALTHY
