Hello Region 2

With everything that is happening right now in our country, I hope everyone is staying as safe as possible with still being able for us to do our job and to come home to our loving families! I know these are very trying times for us all especially being in the Anesthesia field and dealing with the airway with that being said - Please make sure you have the proper PPE and knowing how to put it on correctly and to take it off correctly to make sure you are doing everything under your power to be safe!!

The BOD members are currently working on ways for our members to be able to achieve their CE’s., please bear with us while we are in this process. More details will be posted shortly.

Hopefully you have had time to look at the new ASATT website!! It looks fantastic!! I would like to give a big shout out and thank you to the BOD members that were involved and made this happen!! It is so much easier to navigate and has wide ranges of interesting news and topics for our members. It also has important information on the Coronavirus and you can join in a discussion forum in the member center.

I know Anesthesia tech week couldn’t come at a worst time, but at our facility we will be celebrating it after the pandemic is over and we get back into a normal routine. I would like to say congratulations to Seth Simon from AHN Jefferson Hospital for the fantastic job he did on his poster!! Absolutely loved it!!

More exciting news to our members with-in ASATT:

The Sensor is going through a rebranding and we are hoping that the first issue will be hitting shortly. It will have the science and technology article, with each article, will have a corresponding quiz which you can take to earn your CE’s.

Please everyone stay safe and please tell your family members to listen to the bans about staying home!!
