Anesthesia TECH Pearls

On March 9, 2024, following the findings of a recent lawsuit, the ASATT Board of Directors passed a motion regarding the acceptance of Anesthesia TECH Pearls as third-party credits. Effective January 1, 2025, ASATT will no longer accept Anesthesia TECH Pearls due to the organization’s unwillingness to validate passing scores submitted to ASATT, as well as documented instances of counterfeit submissions in the past. Additionally, it has been noted that Anesthesia TECH Pearls abruptly ceased business operations on March 1, 2024, and their website is no longer accessible. This sudden closure closely resembles the previous discontinuation of the ATA website.

ACLS Certification Requirement For Certified Anesthesia Technologist

Since 2015, holding ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification has been a requirement outlined in the Scope of Practice (SOP) for all Cer.A.T.T. holders. This certification is a fundamental requirement to ensure the safe and effective delivery of anesthesia care. As part of our ongoing commitment to professional development and adherence to industry standards, ALL Certified Anesthesia Technologists (Cer.A.T.T.) are REQUIRED to have their ACLS/ALS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification obtained through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross documented on their ASATT profile by December 31, 2024. Read more.
